History of Our Club
The Manheim Township Lions Club is a member of "The International Association of Lions Clubs". Lions
Clubs are service organizations offering people the opportunity to give something back to their communities. (Links

The Manheim
Township Lions Club was chartered May 23, 1957 at the Hotel Brunswick, Lancaster, PA. Our members have dedicated themselves
to aiding those less fortunate, being active members in our community and helping with various cultural and civic projects.
You too can make a contribution
Since 1917, local Lions Clubs like ours have provided people, just like you,
with an opportunity to be active in their communities. Today over 1.4 million Lions Club members, men and women like you,
in over 180 countries have expanded their help to meet the ever increasing needs of our local and global communities.
As a Lions Club member you become aware of these needs and work with others to make meaningful and effective changes. Lions
can provide volunteers for project management assistance, leadership training and organized fund raising.
You can
make a difference by being a member of our Lions Club to help us meet our community's needs. WE all SERVE.
